Bill Holman Master Class – November 1, 2008

On Saturday, November 1, 2008, ASMAC presented a Master Class by jazz composer and arranger Bill Holman. This took place at the Los Angeles Valley College music department band room. Hosted and organized by ASMAC Board member David Blumberg, the Master Class focused on some wonderful big band jazz pieces by veteran jazz composer Bill Holman. Several pieces were played and coordinated with projection screen scores. The interested (and plentiful) audience was treated to some delightful and individual pieces of music, after which was an opportunity for asking questions.All in attendence were given a CD containing the pieces played along with the scores.
