GRAMMY award winner, renowned arranger and composer, Steve Sidwell, has been featured on numerous albums, television shows, advertising campaigns and films with his distinctive and innovative orchestrations and compositions.

Television commissions include the composition of ‘Elements & Motion’ for the 79th Academy Awards with the Hollywood SFX Chorale, which received an Emmy nomination. Other credits include London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, BBC Music Awards 2014, BBC Live at Edinburgh Castle, The Ryder Cup Gala 2014, ‘Robbie Williams Live at The Palladium’, Bruce Forsyth’s Hall of Fame’, BBC The Voice Series 1 & 2, ‘Robbie Williams Live At The Albert Hall’, Children In Need Rocks The Albert Hall, the BBC Olympic Handover Concert, Victoria Wood’s Christmas Special,  Ant & Dec’s Christmas Show and the opening of The Dubai World Cup.

Advertising campaigns include the award winning Honda Choir (in which Steve is the feature conductor), Stella 4%, M&S Christmas featuring Dame Shirley Bassey, Virgin Holidays featuring Charlotte Church, Nokia Navigator, Heineken, Bounty, McDonalds, Coca Cola, Capital Radio and Guinness.

Theatre credits include orchestrating the latest Broadway & West End show Beautiful: The Musical for which Steve was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Orchestration. Steve’s 2015 GRAMMY Award was for the Best Musical Theatre Album for the original cast album Beautiful: The Musical. Orchestrator of West End smash hit shows ‘Made In Dagenham’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Our House’ and ‘Daddy Cool’.

Steve has also contributed to film including tracks for Baz Lurhman’s Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Teachers Pet Spongebob Squarepants, Finding Nemo, Mona Lisa Smiles and 101 Dalmations 2.

Album credits include the orchestration and conducting of Robbie Williams’ multi-platinum selling album ‘Swing Both Ways’ and ‘Swing When Your Winning’. Recent projects include recordings with Sarah Brightman and the LSO, Paul Young, Jeff Beck, Seal, Dame Shirley Bassey, Kerry Ellis and Paul Carrack.

Steve has also performed professionally with many international artists including George Michael, Amy Winehouse, Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, Cheryl Cole, Muse, Dizzy Rascal, Mika, Take That, Annie Lennox, Leona Lewis, Tom Jones, Sting, Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, The Who, Michael Nyman, and many more.

John Altman is a BAFTA and Emmy award winning composer, musician and conductor and was recently made Doctor of Music at the University of Sussex, School of Media, Film and Music. John has a long and distinguished career in music, including performing with Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Sting. His film credits include period music for Titanic and Shall We Dance. In addition, John has scored over 5,000 TV commercials and is cited as among the top composers in British advertising.
