Oct. 18th Woodwind Concert

21 October 2015

The Woodwind Quintet Concert presented by ASMAC at the Fire House Recording Studio in Pasadena on October 18, 2015 was a great success, with at least 65 in attendance. We had a full house in the studio and even more attendees in the control room enjoying the performance. The reception after the performance offered attendees, performers and orchestrators an opportunity to meet and greet.  A good time was had by all; many new friends were made at this event.

Many thanks to the virtuoso performances by Karin Hoesli (flute), Phil Feather (oboe), Melissa Hendrickson (french horn) and Charles Fernandez (bassoon) Helen Goode-Castro (clarinet). Featured were excellent compositions by Andrew Goodloe, Carol Worthey, Deon Nielsen Price, Karin Okada, Glenn Jordan, Jeannie Pool, Daniel Levin, Igor Kogan and a Van Alexander composition arranged by Milton Nelson.

Thank you to The Fire House Recording Studio for donating their studio for this event. We sincerely appreciate the assistance of their staff. Everyone was impressed with their amazing facilities.
