Dave Slonaker Big Band at the Lighthouse Cafe

August 24, 2017

The Dave Slonaker Big Band returns to the Lighthouse Café on September 24th

I’m very excited to announce for those out-of-town fans and for those in the Southern California area that the Dave Slonaker Big Band will be returning for a performance at the Sunday Jazz Brunch at the iconic Lighthouse Café in Hermosa Beach on Sunday, September 24 from 11am to 3pm.

Scheduled to appear with the band will be: Saxophones, Bob Sheppard, Brian Scanlon, Rob Lockart, Tom Luer, Adam Schroeder. Trumpets, Wayne Bergeron, Dan Fornero, Ron Stout, Kye Palmer. Trombones, Alex Iles, Erik Hughes, Charlie Morillas, Bill Reichenbach. Piano, Ed Czach, Bass, Edwin Livingston, Drums, Peter Erskine.

Our concert last January was packed so don’t miss this opportunity for a great afternoon of big band jazz. With a line-up of great musicians, with the beach and the Hermosa Pier 100 steps away, and with large screen TVs for football and baseball fans, what better way to spend a fall Sunday afternoon in Southern California!?

The $10 cover is a bargain! Parking is convenient: either behind the restaurant or at a parking garage, one block north on the left above Starbucks.

Please tell your friends, students, or share this email, and check us out on Facebook. And for those visiting the LA area, I hope you can include our concert in your visit.

I look forward to seeing you on the 24th!  – Dave
