Recently featured Big Band Hanginar presenter David Berger has announced that The Ellington Effect will offer monthly in-depth studies of Duke Ellington’s arrangements. The first event takes place on March 21 at 3 pm (Eastern) with a deep dive into the score of Ko Ko. David Berger’s ASMAC 2/24/21 Big Band Hanginar event featured an analysis of the score of A Tone Parallel to Harlem.
